On behalf of our client, we are looking to recruit a senior environmental specialist in contaminated land or a senior engineering geologist to work in our client's brownfield land team.
The work would be for a range of clients in the construction, housing, industrial, remediation, waste and environmental sectors. The candidate should be able to write clear and succinct reports and have a full driving licence.
Candidates will work across a range of disciplines carrying out:
- desk studies,
- site investigations,
- detailed environmental risk assessments,
- remediation strategies,
- and assisting with supervision of remediation and construction projects and associated validation documentation.
Work will include a combination of office and site based assignments. Full training will be given to the successful applicants and they encourage all personnel to gain appropriate professional chartership.
Our client is a successful, dynamic and expanding medium sized consultancy which provides a comprehensive geotechnical and geo-environmental expertise to the building, civil engineering and waste management industries including the development of brownfield land.
They provide consultancy, design and construction supervision services for all stages of projects from initial conceptual studies through to end delivery of schemes and long term maintenance and monitoring of licensed facilities.
They undertake assignments throughout the UK, although most of our work is in the northern part England. They also have offices in Colchester and Leeds. Their brownfield team has twenty two staff across the three offices with most of these in the St Helen’s office.
